Cambridge Shady Garden

The garden is surrounded by overhanging birch trees creating shade and dappled sunlight. Finding it difficult to create an interesting planting scheme that thrived in existing conditions, the client asked for a lush green space with pockets of floral interest. A low raised bed and trellis were added to one side of the garden to help with soil improvements under the tree canopy and bring the plants closer to eye level helping to give the garden a 'full' feeling.
